NEW ORLEANS – Starting Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at 5 p.m., Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will begin repairing a 30-inch sewer main on South Claiborne Avenue and Toledano Street. The repair will require the following traffic impacts:
A closure of the left, downtown-bound lane of South Claiborne Avenue at Claiborne and General Taylor Street through Toledano Street.
Drivers travelling down Toledano Street in both directions will be unable to cross over South Claiborne Avenue and will instead be directed to turn onto South Claiborne Avenue.
A closure of the left, lakebound lane of Louisiana Avenue at Magnolia Street.
Residents are asked to be patient and allow extra time to reach their destinations. Repairs are expected to be complete by the evening of Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. No disruptions to sewer services are expected.
