New Orleans, LA - The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) announces the appointment of Kelder Summers as its new Press Secretary. With a distinguished career in communications strategy, public relations, and community engagement for over 25 years, Summers brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to driving positive change through effective communication.

Summers holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of New Orleans. She joins SWBNO from the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice, as Communications and Engagement Director, she led comprehensive public relations and marketing initiatives. Her expertise in crisis communications and media relations has been instrumental in shaping organizational narratives and fostering community awareness.
